Oi apparo literally translates to “no horse.” Does that explain what it means? Absolutely not. Welcome to Cypriot.

It’s one of those phrases you pull out when someone says something so ridiculous, unbelievable or completely out of pocket that a normal response simply won’t do.

Why a horse? We don’t know. Why no horse? Also don’t know. But somehow, oi apparo says everything that needs to be said.
